SPECIFICATION & FEATURES
A - Reel body Material: magnesium alloy with coating Diameter: 12.6" / 32cm Groove depth: 1.97" / 5cm Groove width: 1.22”/ 3.1cm Kite line volume: 800~1000g
B - Anti-reverse knob Right-rotate the knob to activate, left to get reel back to free revolving. Reel is not allowed to rotate anti-clockwise with the purpose that kite lines can't be paid out any more. Never activate anti-reverse when the kite line is paying out at high speed.
C - Handle bar Material: magnesium alloy with coating Two handle bars, measuring 3.43” / 9cm, are fixed on the reel vis-a-vis. Longer than normal to help you better control big kites.
D - Support bracket Material: magnesium alloy with coating It's a long bar where all functional devices are fixed. The support bracket can be separated from the reel body by just screwing out the nut in the middle of the reel body. You can have one support bracket and multiple reel bodies for different kite lines.
E - 6+1 rollers line-guide Material: stainless steel Be composed of two separate roller devices: Upper 2-2-2: 6 rollers in 3 rows, parallels intersecting. The whole device can move along sticks from side to side to adjust kite line. Lower: 1 big roller, guiding line to the reel groove. The device has two main purposes: protect kite line from abrasion or cut; help better organize the kite line.
F - Brake control handle Left handle is connected to the disc brake device. Rotate inward to brake or lower the revolving speed of reel. Rotate outward to un-brake or allow reel to revolve freely. Right handle works as a grip and a replacement if left handle is broken.
G - Disc brake device It’s the core part of the whole braking system, like a simple version of your bike’s braking system, but powerful.
H - Abdominal support bar & Webbing strap The webbing strap is going over left shoulder, then to the right side of your waist. It's like carrying a Crossbody bag. The abdominal support bar is covered by a quality sponge. The support bar is leaning against your belly or abdomen (as you like), which will share burden from your arm, especially when wind is strong.
