15x Stronger than Steel
UHMWPE Cords yield extremely high strength (15x stronger than steel by weight ratio) in a compact size and lightweight. Compared to utility cords or mil-spec paracords made of nylon/polyester, UHMWPE cords are much lighter and far less bulky, convenient for outdoor carry, and easy storage with spools.
Highly Resistant to Abrasion and Wear
Best cords for anywhere extra protection from abrasion is required. UHMWPE is highly resistant to abrasion and wears, largely extending the abrading period when compared to nylon and polyester. Go for UHMWPE micro cords as whipping twine or repair cords when your ropes or load-bearing equipment tend to abrade quickly due to intense rubs against woods and rocks.
UV RESISTANT!
UHMWPE retains its super performance after long-term exposure to UV. Extremely high resistance to UV, enhanced by PU coating over the cords, superior to Aramid (Kevlar, Technora, Twaron) and to most high-tech fibers.Qualified for most outdoor applications, especially as the best repair cords for marine uses.
No Creep
Being of very low stretch, and highly resistant to creep, to flex-fatigue, UHMWPE cords have a better tendency to keep strength and retain shapes under loading.
